Greetings,
I am Andrew S. Mercado, a dedicated Media Design professional hailing from McAllen, Texas. My journey began in the picturesque town of Floydada, North Texas, where life's lessons were learned not in classrooms, but in the vast fields, bustling establishments, and under the Texan sun.
Before my military chapter, I delved into a myriad of roles that shaped my character and work ethic. From the demanding environment of the farming and ranching industries to the precision required in automotive detailing, every job instilled in me a unique skill and perspective. My time in the slaughterhouse taught me resilience, while my role as a dishwasher in a restaurant honed my diligence and commitment to excellence.
Seeking a transformative path for my future and that of my family, I enlisted in the military. This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, taking me to 17 different countries and offering a wealth of cultural experiences. From the historic landscapes of Germany to the vibrant streets of Japan and beyond, each destination has enriched my global perspective.
Now stationed at Dyess AFB in Texas, I am on the brink of achieving a significant milestone - completing my degree in Media Design. The world of art and design has been a lifelong passion. With over two decades of experience, I've transitioned from conceptual art to freelance design, creating logos, backdrops, icons, and overlays for a diverse clientele. My expertise in photography further enriches my designs, allowing me to infuse them with original stock images.
Collaboration is the cornerstone of my approach. I am committed to understanding and bringing to life the visions of my clients. As I stand at this pivotal juncture, I am eager to contribute to a team where creativity is celebrated, and innovation is the norm.
